Spend the day at one of Travel Channel's "Top Ten" Beaches in Marco Island, FL. The island is known for its world class shelling, pristine beaches, and wildlife watching. Accessible only by boat, our 5 Star Rated Trip Advisor shuttle gets you out there stress free. On the way out to the island see dolphins and other marine life. We do all the driving, all you have to do is show up and enjoy the day!
WHO WE ARE
Hemingway Water Shuttle was founded by the Hemingway Family: Steve, Val, Lauren, and Matt. We decided to start a business about something we were truly passionate about; people and being on the water! With 20+ years in the resort and hospitality business, Hemingway Water Shuttle is family owned and operated and committed to providing our customers with a great experience.

KEEWAYDIN ISLAND
Accessible only by boat, this unique barrier island is a local favorite. With it's great scenery and soft sandy beach, enjoy the day swimming, shelling, fishing, or just relaxing. The island often has food and drinks for sale from local vendors ( BUT please check their schedule as they are not on island everyday) and always pack your own cooler just in case! Hemingway Water Shuttle will pull up on shore and drop you off in the middle of the action! The adventure awaits!
SUNSET TOURS
Hemingway Water Shuttle offers custom sunset cruise tours in the bay of Marco Island. The tour will take off from Rose Marina on Marco Island. Then take you on a relaxing cruise around the mangroves in the back water and canals of the gulf of Mexico. This is an excellent way to view the island and surrounding area from a different perspective. Spot dolphins, manatees, and a wide variety of birds on your way. The captain will then position the shuttle for a beautiful view of the sun as it sets over the ocean. You won't be disappointed - the colors are spectacular!
LARGE PARTY & CUSTOM TOURS
If you have a large party, want to reserve the shuttle all day for a special event, or have a special destination in mind, we are happy to discuss and accommodate. Great idea for birthday, bachelorette / bachelor, or just any old party! Please contact us!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
WHERE DOES THE WATER SHUTTLE PICK ME UP?
Your trip will start at Rose Marina. Come to the onsite booth to check in and we will provide directions to the boat. We would appreciate if you arrive 20-25 minutes before your scheduled ride. Other logistics will be discussed by your captain or mate once you board the boat.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING ONBOARD?
We provide enough life jackets for everyone on board. We have beach chairs and umbrellas for rent. If you book online, you will have the option to add on a beach chair or umbrella rental in advance. If you decide you want a beach chair after you book, just let us know when you check in at the booth.
WHAT KIND OF BOAT / VESSEL WILL I BE RIDING ON?
You will be riding on a 30 foot, 22-passenger, coastguard certified and inspected catamaran. The boat will provide a seat for everyone on board. It is partially covered to provide shade on those really hot days but plenty of sunny area for those who want it!
REFUNDS & CANCELATION POLICY
We understand plans change. You will be fully refunded if you cancel within 48 hours of your ride. Our staff can issue a refund, please contact us.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
No, Hemingway Water Shuttle loves dogs (!!), however, we are unable to accommodate your furry friends due to capacity.
WHERE DO I PARK MY CAR WHILE I AM OUT ON MY TRIP?
Parking is easy! There is free parking for our guests all day in Rose Marina's car parking lot.
IS HEMINGWAY WATER SHUTTLE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes! Our boat was designed with ADA standards in mind. We have a wide, extendable ramp which makes getting off and on easy. There is ample space on the platform of the boat to accommodate all patrons.
HOW LONG DOES THE RIDE TAKE?
The ride to and from Keewaydin Island takes approximately 30-40 mins each way.
